Can't make coffee after using the steam function? This may be due to the machine being in an overheated state, requiring a cooling period before further use. After pressing the steam button off, open the steam valve and release some water through to help cool it down. The temperature screen will display "E-1" in this scenario.

If the steam control knob has been left on, the temperature screen will show "E-2" when turning on the machine, as the steam preheat indicator will be flashing quickly, indicating the knob is not in the off position. The solution is to turn the steam knob to the off position.

If the internal temperature is too high to make coffee after using steam, wait for the machine to cool down or turn on the steam control knob to release hot water and cool it down (with a cup under the steam wand). The temperature screen will display "E-3" in this case.

When using the machine, keep in mind that a regular drinking glass may be too tall to fit under the nozzles to collect the concentrated coffee. It is recommended to use specialized espresso cups for better results, as the base can be removed to accommodate taller glasses.
